This summer, the Bonifatiuskerk in Leeuwarden will once again open its doors for a series of atmospheric concerts. Concerts will be held every Saturday in July and August, featuring the church’s historic Adema organ.
Young, talented organists will perform a varied programme, with the organ regularly joined by voice, oboe or violin. The concerts take place on Saturday afternoons and offer a wonderful opportunity to enjoy music in one of Leeuwarden’s most beautiful churches.
Admission is free; voluntary donations after the concert are greatly appreciated.
The programme is as follows:
- 4 July: Sebastiaan Schippers and Vronie de Vreeze (vocals)
- 11 July: Masako Honda
- 18 July: Johan Smit and Janneke Boeschoten (violin)
- 25 July: Siegfried Derks
- 1 August: Jamie González-Sierra Moreno
- 8 August: Annemiek Zeldenrust
- 15 August: Wietse Meinardi and Hanneke Ramselaar (oboe)
- 22 August: Jochem Schuurman
- 29 August: Trienke Hartog and Geraldina Gaastra (oboe)
