Sailing day on the Lemsteraak

Unique experience in Friesland: sailing and boating on the Lemsteraak of Sail Events Friesland is a wonderful water sports experience. A sailing trip with friends, family or business. The experience will leave a lasting impression on how a barge sails on the water in Friesland. This unique way of experiencing water sports is possible on the Frisian lakes or along the waterways and canals as well as on the IJsselmeer. Depending on the weather you can actively sail or just relax.

Inside the galley of the Lemsteraak, attention is paid to the taste of typical Frisian regional products. These are processed in a beautiful organic lunch that is consumed on board.

9.30 am: Reception with coffee/tea and orange cake 9:30am: Loosen up and go. Drinks can be ordered during the cruise. 12.30 pm: Halfway through the sailing trip we anchor or moor at an island and you can enjoy a luxurious organic lunch on board with the taste of typical Frisian regional products, luxury sandwiches, a choice of different drinks and soup that is prepared on board. 5.15 pm: Return to the harbor of Woudsend. While enjoying our 'mooring boat', we talk on board about the experiences of the day. 5:30 pm: Closing. Optionally you can have a drink on board

We only sail in conditions that are attractive to the guests on board. If necessary, we will look together for the right solution for a sailing trip with pleasant conditions. Sail Events Friesland offers an excellent catering service on board during the cruise. We have put together various packages in collaboration with local entrepreneurs. Before, during or after the cruise we can provide breakfast, coffee table, lunch, tasting, drink or dinner. Thanks to our many options, we are able to meet all your wishes. Location of the ship: Waechswal (behind the Spar). In the harbor of Woudsend. You can park your car at Lynbaen 15 in Woudsend.

Important to know
The ship is open fifteen minutes before departure. There will only be sailing if the weather conditions allow it. The cruise will continue if at least 5 people are registered. It is recommended that you wear sneakers, windbreaker and sunglasses, sun cap/hat and sunscreen. Optionally - weather permitting - you can bring your swimsuit and a towel.
