Unique experience in Friesland: sailing on the Lemsteraak - called the "Blaauw Walvisch" - from Sail Events Friesland is a wonderful water sports experience. A sailing trip with friends, family or business. The experience will make a lasting impression of how a barge sails on the water in Friesland. This unique way of experiencing water sports is possible on the Frisian lakes or along the canals and canals as well as on the IJsselmeer. Depending on the weather, you can actively sail, steer the ship or just relax. The exact routes depend on the wind.
1 p.m.: Reception with coffee/tea and orange cake
1.15 pm: Let go and leave. Drinks can be ordered during the cruise.
4.45 pm: Return to Woudsend harbour. While enjoying our 'mooring', we talk about the day's experiences on board.
5:00 PM: Closing. Optionally you can have a drink on board
It is possible to have lunch on board in advance. This will be from 12.15 pm. If interested, please contact us by email/telephone.
We only sail under conditions that are attractive to the guests on board. If necessary, we will work together to find the right solution for a boat trip with pleasant conditions. Sail Events Friesland offers an excellent catering service on board during the cruise. We have put together various packages in collaboration with local entrepreneurs. Before, during or after the cruise we can provide breakfast, coffee table, lunch, tasting, drinks or dinner. Due to our many options, we are able to meet all your wishes. Please feel free to contact us for catering options and any dietary requirements. Based on this, we are happy to think along with you and put together a tailor-made package.

You can park your car at Lynbaen 15 in Woudsend.
Important to know
The ship opens 5 minutes before departure. Sailing only takes place if weather conditions permit. The trip will proceed if at least 5 people have registered. The maximum number of people is 13. For groups of more than 13 people, please contact us at 06-23 28 4719 or info@saileventsfriesland.nl.
It is recommended to wear sneakers, a windbreaker, sunglasses, a sun cap/hat, and sunscreen. Optionally—weather permitting—you can bring your swimwear and a towel.
The price includes a €2 fuel allowance per participant.
