Kuiertocht Witmarsum
On the outskirts of Witmarsum lies the Flietsterbosk, a green surprise in this open landscape. The route passes straight through it. Along the way, you'll pass by the church where the church reformer Menno Simons laid the foundation for the Mennonite doctrine. Through the open fields, you'll return to the charming village of Witmarsum.
A "kuiertocht" is a short walking route. So, it probably won't surprise you that in Frisian, "wandelen" translates to "kuierje". You can easily combine a leisurely stroll with an activity in the area, or choose to embark on another leisurely stroll. An overview of all leisurely strolls can be found here.
