Our B&B is centrally situated in a tiny village called Warns, surrounded by green fields and water. The nostalgic little old ports of Stavoren, Hindeloopen and Workum are just a milestone away. An ideal countryside for cycling e.g. the Eleven Cities, walking, sailing & touring around.Â
The villa has two sunny guestrooms: one dedicated to the Frisian artist Jopie Huisman and the other as a tribute to the Frisian dancer and alleged spy Mata Hari. Both rooms have private bathrooms and nice views over the countryside. In the flowery garden you'll find several spots to sit and relax, e.g. in the shadow of the old beech.
THE MATA HARI ROOM
Our deluxe room where all the furniture refers to certain episodes of Mata Hari's life and career. Such as the handcrafted Indonesian wooden panell and row of novels about the danser. The room has a private badroom with shower, sink & toilet, towels, soap & shampoo, towels, hairdryer, flatscreen television, free Wifi, wardrobe, two lazy chairs and coffee & tea supplies. Beds (box springs) can be made as a double bed (size 160 x 200 cm) or two single beds.Â
You can enjoy a private sunny roofterrace. Room size 20 m2. Roofterrace 15m2.
THE JOPIE HUISMAN ROOM
Colourfull room full of references to the work of Jopie Huisman, artist from nearby Workum. You can browse through several books about his art and enjoy the reproductions of his paintings on the walls. The room has a private bathroom with shower, sink & toilet, towels, soap & shampoo, hairdryer, flatscreen television, free Wifi, wardrobe, a table with two chairs and coffee & tea supplies. Beds (box springs) can be made as a double bed (size 160 x 200 cm) or two single beds. Room size 16 m2.
