Honesty tastes best
Honesty is the best policy, goes the traditional Dutch proverb. At Restaurant Wannee we know better than anyone that honest food tastes by far the best. We push the boundaries by serving dishes that are honest, tasty and local, without artificial additives and where special vegetables and preparations play a leading role. In addition to attention to taste, we also pay particular attention to the impact that our eating behavior has on the planet. With respect for our Dutch food culture, we named our restaurant after Cornelia Johanna Wannée, who wrote one of the first Dutch cookbooks. More than a century later, we are honouring her life's work in our restaurant of the same name. Curious? You are very welcome to put it to the test.
