City farm De Sibbe unites city and countryside!

This former dairy farm is situated on the outskirts of Sneek and revolves around local food, nature, and sustainability. There is a local shop, terrace with playground, and a small eco campsite. You can harvest your own vegetables and (tea) herbs, pet animals, relax outside, and enjoy the peace and quiet. You can also have meetings outside or in the hay barn. Guided tours can be arranged as well. For small private groups we provide breakfast or lunch with the tastiest products from the region.

Local shop with terrace
The former tank room has been converted into a local shop. Here you can find all the goodies from the surroundings of Sneek, such as organic dairy, cheese, vegetables from our own garden and from small regional gardeners, cereals, local beers, and ice cream.

Campsite
The small-scale campsite is located on the back pasture which offers lots of privacy, peace, and space. You can walk straight from the campsite into the adjacent six-hectare park. Our horses graze here in summer. There is an almost completely unobstructed view, with birds of prey, grazing horses and sheep. You will hear a lot of frogs and you can occasionally see deer! Children can climb trees, build rafts, play in hay, pick flowers, and interact with animals. You are also welcome to camp in one of the equipped Bell tents.

Local shop with terrace: Friday from 14:00-17:00 and Saturday from 11:00-17:00. The campsite is open from Ascension Day until the last weekend of September. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities for meetings, breakfast, and lunch.
