With the motto “There is a sea of possibilities at Puur Terschelling”, Anne, Danielle, Jochem and Bentum run their family business. The Bierema family loves to let you experience the Terschelling nature during the different Puur activities. With the self-bred Friesian horses for the covered wagons, larger groups can also be transported.

Other activities of Puur Terschelling are Frisian and Shire riding horse rental, riding their sweet Frisian or Shires horses on a comfortable australian saddle over the numerous equestrian routes on the island compiled by Staatsbosbeheer, through woods, dunes, cranberry fields and of course always over the beach. With a duration from two hours to day or evening tour. Individually, in groups, a sea of possibilities.

Pure Terschelling rides in small groups, safe and cozy. Separate rides for both advanced and novice riders are among the possibilities. For the horse activities the company Puur Terschelling is in possession of a safety certificate.

Puur Terschelling has donkeys with which you can walk through the island nature. Through the dunes, along the cranberry fields, through the polder, through the forest and over the beach. Hereby the donkey carries a picnic and/or your children, so that the tired legs on top of the donkey can rest again. Besides the rest and relaxation that a donkey offers, the donkey has proven to be a great companion for young and old. They also organize mudflat hiking trips ending with a mudflat tasting, 4x4 Landrover transport and in the summer months you can go mudflat sailing in a sturdy boat.
