For those looking for peace and space, B&B De Scharren in Scharsterbrug (near Joure-Langweer) is the perfect place. In the midst of beautiful nature (forests, lakes, and meadows) there is only room for a carefree existence during your stay. Enjoy the attractive private room or the spacious garden of 2600 square meters with vegetable garden and fruit orchard. This means indulgence in the Frisian countryside.

The rooms are luxuriously and comfortably furnished with private bathroom with sink, walk-in shower, and toilet (incl blow-drier and Janzen care products). These rooms, together with the pantry with Nespresso coffee machine and refrigerator, are located on the first floor overlooking the landscape.

It is important to sleep well on the quality (box spring) Avek beds. And to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning with homemade and/or local products in the separate and tastefully decorated dining area.

In the guest rooms, information booklets are available with tips to explore the area (e.g., by bike, by car/motorcycle, on foot). The B&B is an excellent base for several fun outings.

Parking is available on site. The yard has a closed bicycle shed with charging point. There is also room for motorcycles.

The Scharren is easily accessible by public transport. Bus 41 departs from Heerenveen train station and stops a few meters from the B&B. From Heerenveen the journey time via Joure is about twenty minutes.

The B&B is suitable for tourists who explore our country, as well as for business guests.

Notes accessibility OV: De Scharren is met het openbaar vervoer goed bereikbaar. Buslijn 41 vertrekt vanaf treinstation Heerenveen en heeft haltes op enkele meters afstand van De Scharren. Vanaf Heerenveen is de reistijd via Joure ongeveer twintig minuten.
Notes parking: Er is voor de gasten van De Scharren voldoende parkeerruimte voor de auto op het eigen terrein.
En er is een (afgesloten) fietsenstalling beschikbaar met ook gelegenheid voor het opladen van accu’s
