On the outskirts of the town of Dokkum, one of the historic Frisian Eleven Cities, lies B&B Slaap Lekker. The full-fledged apartment (50 m2) is located by the park, less than a 20-minute walk from the picturesque town center. There is sleeping space for up to 4 people (an extra long double box spring and a double sofa bed).
You can park for free in your own yard and the apartment has a private entrance. The spacious living room offers a cozy homely atmosphere and the kitchen is fully equipped. Coffee and tea are included, as are linens and towels. Wifi is free, and you can also use streaming video services (Netflix and Prime) for free.
The terrace completes the vacation feeling. The singing birds, nothing but greenery around you. You would almost forget that you are really IN Dokkum after all. The park you overlook is the largest in Dokkum. Trees and ponds, walking paths and fishing jetties. Rural and quiet, and yet not remote.
Dokkum is known for its beautiful bastions, the canals surrounded by historic buildings and mills, the Admiralty, the Ice Fountain and the Bonifatius Chapel. But also the lovely terraces and cozy shopping streets are worth a visit. For the enthusiast, there are also several breweries to visit and sample.
