Description of the trip
Sail along for 5 days, enjoy the game with the wind and a cozy atmosphere on board with a small group of maximum 14 people.
Monday morning
... you are welcome on board from 10 a.m. or if you have booked a pre-overnight stay, you can even embark on Sunday evening at 8 p.m. You will meet Katja, Axel and the other guests. Your bed is already made and ready for you. There are several routes that can be sailed. After a short sailing instruction, you will sail out of the port of Harlingen.
During the day
… Practice different knots and get to know the different sails. Once everything is clear, the tasks are divided and you sail out of port. The skipper is at the helm, but there is something for everyone to do on the Vertrouwen. Once the sails are set and the ship is on course, you can do your own thing. Do you have a good book lying around that you just can't get to? Do you like games? Feel free to take it all with you! Or doze off on the deck. But beware: there is plenty to see along the way: flocks of birds, beautiful coastlines, other ships or just water. On the Wadden Sea you can often see seals and the possibilities to dry out, a unique experience!
Lunch will be served along the way. There is also moored in a port, so you have the opportunity to go out yourself. Visit an attractive harbor town, grab a terrace, take a walk or bike ride. In the evening, a hot meal is waiting for you and you eat together on board. After dinner you have the opportunity to organize your own time and possibly disembark to spend your evening ashore.
Friday
... you sail back to Harlingen and disembark around 5:00 PM. Of course you can also help with sailing or relax on the way back.
There is the possibility to book a pre-overnight stay. Then you already embark on Friday evening.
