Cruises on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the pream "Lois" through the canals and ditches of Makkum and the meadow surroundings. The trip takes just over an hour.

From the water you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Makkum. You sail on the inland waterways in a barge (open boat). The barge has benches on either side and tables in the middle. The crew of the Lois consists of enthusiastic volunteers. They ensure a relaxed atmosphere on board and are happy to tell you what there is to see along the way. There is also an information book on board with a lot of information about the sailing routes and sights in the area.

In addition to these boarding times, you can also book group packages. Such as a family day, staff outing, bachelor party or the like. Catering is possible in consultation, as is mooring along the way for the famous Frisian fierljeppen or other Old Dutch games. Please contact the It Preamke Foundation via rene@taxivanderbles.nl.

Location
Boarding point: Turfmarkt 33, 8754 CH, Makkum. Parking is available at the Turfmarkt on the water or on the Markt.

Important to know
Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. You may bring your own food and drinks. In bad weather we recommend wearing warm clothing. If there are fewer than 10 people, the route will be adjusted.

For wheelchair users. It is possible to sail along, but please contact us by telephone first so that this can be taken into account. You can call 0655784959. Dogs are also welcome. But this also applies: mention this in advance.
