Bell tower Teroele
Teroele
On a small "terp" (mound), surrounded by a "gracht" (moat), stands this bell tower in Teroele.
On a small cemetery, on the shores of the lake 'Kûfurd', you will find this bell tower. It is not entirely certain when the bell tower was built; the first mention dates back to 1600, but it is also possible that it was built in 1723. The bell dates from 1614.
The most recent renovation of the bell tower was completed in 2020.
