Neushoorn
Leeuwarden
Neushoorn is a magical place in the heart of Leeuwarden, not just for its spanking new music, dance, and film projects, but also because it is really geared towards letting talent develop. We are an open centre for business and leisure.
Neushoorn is a magical place for pop culture in the heart of Leeuwarden. Rhino literally and figuratively offers a platform for talent development. The doors are open to makers who want to show beautiful productions, to artists who feel at home with a very varied audience, but above all to everyone who wants to be surprised or just wants a nice evening out. With two concert halls, a café, rehearsal and cultural production areas, everyone from the region will find their place here.
Grote Zaal (Main Hall)
So large, yet so cozy: with three bars and a capacity for 700 people, the Main Hall has the allure of a full-fledged concert hall, but also has the coziness of a living room. Whether you stand on the spacious balcony or at the front of the stage, you experience every concert as if you were sitting on the artist's lap. As if glued to the TV, sound and visuals are an experience in themselves, because the Main Hall is equipped with state-of-the-art sound equipment and an impressive, professional light show.
AA Security Arena
Anything is possible with this fresh, multifunctional room. The stage can be placed anywhere, as can the audience. We can use the entire hall as a dance floor or as a stage, and the surrounding balcony also makes it possible to view the arena from every nook and cranny. All light and sound facilities are available and depending on the setup, the arena has a capacity of approximately 250 people.
