Set off on a cycling adventure with legendary Dutch heroine and storyteller Bauck Poppema, who lived at the prestigious Hemmemastate estate in the village of Berlikum in the late Middle Ages. She will be our guide as we cycle through the villages of Marsum, Bitgum, Berltsum, Ingelum and Wier. Along the way you will hear sensational stories about two opposed political parties, the Schieringers and the Vetkopers, country estates and - yes - cats and dogs. What does it all mean?
