Eastermar Roaming Route
The cycling route from the village of Eastermar leads you around the two lakes between the towns of Burgum and Drachten: Burgumer Mar lake and De Leijen lake. Between the villages of Jistrum and Eastermar, you cycle through a scenic landscape with wooded banks and rows of alders. This area is part of the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden National Landscape conservation area and provides a beautiful backdrop for walking and cycling.
Please note! On this cycling route you follow the walking route network junctions. Some parts of the route may be unpaved.

Paviljoen de Leyen
In 2010 is er in het unieke natuurgebied de Leijen een prachtig nieuw paviljoen verrezen (het terras staat genoteerd in de Misset terras top 100). Het paviljoen geeft de mogelijkheid om te genieten van het natuurschoon dat deze plek te bieden heeft.
Korenmolen de Hoop Sumar
De korenmolen is iedere zaterdag geopend en te bezichtigen o.l.v. een vrijwillige molenaar. Tevens worden er graanproducten verkocht op de maalzolder.
