Beetsterzwaag - Ureterp | Koningspad XL Hiking Trail Network: Section 10
From the Het Witte Huis hotel and restaurant in the village of Olterterp you walk part of the Olterterp Sculpture Trail before turning off to Heidehuizen. You cross the Koningsdiep river and walk through the picturesque Wijnjeterper Schar nature reserve. Once past the De Marschen nature reserve, you cross the Koningsdiep river again and walk through open fields to the village of Ureterp.
The 14 sections of the Koningspad XL Hiking Trail Network take you past the highlights of the Koningsdiep stream valley. A journey through meadows, heaths and the open landscape of Friesland.
