Pizza Beppe is the first restaurant in the Netherlands to be recognised by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, the authority that sets the standard for authentic Neapolitan pizza craftsmanship.
The pizzas are made with San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte mozzarella and olive oil, sourced directly from Campania. Baked in a stone oven at high heat, for just the right amount of time. The result is that characteristic light, airy crust with a soft and flavourful centre you'd expect from a true Neapolitan pizza.
The Nieuwestad is within walking distance of the Oldehove, the Fries Museum and the Kleine Kerkstraat, repeatedly voted the Netherlands' most enjoyable shopping street. Pizza Beppe is housed on the ground floor of a historic building along the canal. Starters, Italian wines, cocktails and desserts are also on the menu. Vegetarians and vegans will find a dedicated section to choose from.
