Our à la carte restaurant is located in a former farmhouse opposite the old Koebrug (drawbridge) in Stavoren, one of the eleven cities of Friesland. In our Scottish-style, homely restaurant and on our secluded garden terrace you can enjoy homemade specialties, Frisian and Scottish beers and fine wines.
Scottish and Frisian
We adore Scotland, but we also love our own region with its beautiful products. When preparing our dishes, we are inspired by the better Scottish cuisine. We always go for taste, for craft and often for regional products.

Own smokehouse
On our menu you can find a variety of delicacies from our own smokehouse. This way, meat and fish, but also cheese or eggs are given a very special taste. A slice of French bread with our smoked oil, a starter with smoked salmon or our peat-smoked beef belly; are really worth trying!

Whiskybar
Are you a fan of Scotch single malt whisky? Or would you like to find out more about it? In both cases you can indulge yourself in our bar. You’ll find 400 different bottles here. To a large extent, these are the well-known distillery bottlings, but we also offer many varieties of independent bottlers. Single malt, single cask, cask strength, it’s all there. If you have no idea where to start, we are happy to advise you. Moreover, at our bar, we offer you to taste a drop before ordering! You are welcome to enjoy a nice 'dram' anytime from 17.00 hours till late. Please check our opening days.
