Five of the Eleven
On this stage, you’ll visit five cities: Stavoren, the oldest, and picturesque Hindeloopen, both located on the former Zuiderzee. A little further inland lies Workum, connecting the lakes with the former Zuiderzee, followed by Bolsward, with the distinctive silhouette of the Martinikerk. The stage ends in Harlingen, the gateway to the Wadden Sea, with a beautiful view from the dike. Discover our tips for visiting these cities here.

In Hindeloopen, you can feel the Eleven Cities Tour right down to your toes — literally, at the Skating Museum. In Tjerkwerd, Fyftjin en Fierder tells the story of fifteen tours and dreams of new ones. And in Witmarsum, Pim Mulier, the founder of the Eleven Cities Tour, stands watch in bronze over this skating heritage.
