(38 km)

The Jouster Merke, its famous annual market, is held on the fourth Thursday of September. From here, you head for the village of Langweer, where you get to see many well-preserved beautiful old buildings in the small but charming village centre. It may be the smallest city in Friesland, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in character.
