Met augmented reality (AR) kun je met je smartphone dingen zien die er in het echt niet zijn. De MeAR Fryslân app voegt een digitale laag over de werkelijkheid toe. Tijdens deze AR-route kijk en luister je naar verhalen over deze bijzondere plekken.
Greidhoeke
Vanaf natuurgebied Skrok bij Wommels stap je op de fiets voor een 42 kilometer lange fietsroute door de Greidhoeke. Een gebied dat bekend staat op het uitgestrekte weidelandschap en de rijke terpendorpen.
Het is aan te raden de MeAR Fryslân app voor vertrek te downloaden, hier download je ook alvast de route. Zo heb je tijdens de reis geen internet nodig. Tip: neem oordopjes en een powerbank mee voor onderweg.

The Skrok meadow bird reserve between the villages of Wommels and Easterein is a protected area where many birds come to forage and roost. In the spring, the flower-filled grasslands are perfect for nesting.
The Martinikerk Easterein
The Martinikerk is a church built in the 14th century, located on a moated elevation. In the middle of the 11th century, a tuffstone predecessor was built. The church hall is available for rent. You can also book a guided tour.

Pluktuin Easterwierrum is located at De Dille by the picnic bench, next to the bike path. It is a flower-picking garden. On May 2nd, the first flowers, bulbs, and seeds will be planted. For a fee, anyone can pick a bouquet of flowers.
Mummy Crypt in Wiuwert
In 1765, carpenters working in St Nicholas Church in Wiuwert had the fright of their lives when they unexpectedly came across seven perfectly preserved bodies in the crypt. The carpenters fled from the church in panic.
Sint Jorischurch Britswert
Although there are no mummies to be seen in the church of Britswerd, it is interesting to visit this 12th-century house of worship, constructed from yellow Frisian bricks.
