For a cultural day out, Friesland is the place to visit, as there is so much beauty to discover here. Why not visit the ‘old classics’, such as the Waterpoort (water gate) in Sneek or the old leaning church tower Oldehove in Leeuwarden. Then again, you shouldn’t skip the ‘new classics’.
